Many parents find it hard to play with their children, and connect with them at the emotional level. Many view play as a sign of disrespect and unseriousness. Many do not know the importance of play in the development of their children.
On the 25th January, to commemorate the international day of education, we created a safe and welcoming environment where our learners and their parents connected.
The “Sip and Paint” held in partnership with COAL and The Creo Tribe helped parents and children feel each other’s closeness, and bond in a healthy way.
We want parents to make their children know that they are seen, loved, and not alone.
As a saying goes, “It takes the partnership of parents, teachers, and the community to raise a whole child.”
We appreciate our partners Custodians of African Literature – COAL and Creo Tribe for working with us on this amazing event. We pray for grace to stay consistent and do more.
