The Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development with support from UNHCR Nigeria conducted a Non-Food Item (NFI) distribution exercise for internally displaced persons across three Local Government Areas in Plateau State.
The distribution implemented by Claire Aid Foundation took place across 3 days from the 25th to 27th of June in Riyom, Barkin Ladi and Bassa Local Government Areas respectively.
500 displaced families benefited from this intervention. Each family received four blankets, four sleeping mats, two plastic sheets, one kitchen set, and one solar lamp to support their immediate needs and improve their living conditions.
