On Saturday 24th August 2024, our one month summer school project in partnership with Arm The Child Foundation came to a beautiful end with a closing ceremony. The ceremony was a time of reflection and joy over the success of the 4 week project.
For 4 weeks, our beneficiary children received instruction in Maths, English, Civic Education, Financial and Digital Literacy and climate education. They also benefited from vocational classes, games and sports and lunch at school every day.
The ceremony was graced by representatives from the state Ministries of Education and Women Affairs as well as community stakeholders who together with the learners and volunteers testified to the necessity and beauty of the project.
We appreciate our implementing partners Arm the Child Foundation for the partnership and bond through the project. We also appreciate our infatigable volunteers who kept the flame burning and invested time and resources under the sun and in the rain on this children. We appreciate every one of you who donated towards this project in cash and kind, our friends Keep A Child Warm, Emmy Akpa Studios and everyone who shared our posts and stories.
God’s willing, we will only do more in the future to come.
