The 2023 edition of our annual Christmas project “A Claire Christmas” held on the 17th of December 2023 and It was a beautiful event.
This year we reached out to about 900 children from 7 communities with hair dressing, barbing, food, pedicure, tooth cleansing and lots of fun as well as the gospel of Jesus Christ.
This year’s party featured a concert by our partners Coregospel Music, play with Sports Friends, a puppet show by the puppets ministry, a medical outreach by Charis Healthcare & Community Support Initiative and a large army of volunteers. The personal hygiene effect packs for this year’s party were purchased and packed with love by the staff and students of Hillcrest School, Jos Nigeria.
Still In the spirit of A Claire Christmas and loving wholly and radically, the Claire Aid Foundation team paid a visit on Thursday 21st December 2023 to Rafin Bauna; a Muslim settlement near Jebbu Miango.
The visit was intended to extend the love and joy of Christmas to the children there and this was carried out by giving 300 personal hygiene effect packs as well as drinks and sweets to the children in the community. We also had a time of play with the children and it was a truly amazing experience.
We are grateful to everyone who made A Claire Christmas a success. From our generous donors and partners, to our amazing volunteer army, to everyone who prayed, shared and donated towards this year’s party, we are grateful. We hope to do more in the year and years to come.
